Mike Biggs

Mike has worked in the Insurance industry since 2005; he joined The Verge Insurance Group following 6 years on the corporate side of the business, working for a major Canadian Insurance company. Working with both personal and business clients, Mike is able to apply his experience, industry knowledge and creativity in tailoring customized insurance plans to each client’s needs. Mike lives in Grimsby with his wife, Jacquelyn and their son, Austin. When he’s not in the office, Mike is spending time with his family, running his golf tournament for Sick Kids and playing or coaching baseball.

Michael Hildebrandt

Michael entered the Insurance industry in 1986 with Met Life, where he developed his skills as an Account Rep, furthered his education and became a Team Manager. In 1997, Michael made the move to The Verge Insurance Group where he has now spent 20+ years, building a large, loyal clientele as well as a strong reputation in the region. Michael continues to further his education and industry knowledge as a member of the financial services association, Advocis. Mike spends his free time playing with his grandkids, golfing, playing hockey and assisting with charitable foundations, including Big Brother Big Sisters of Niagara.

Kim Benjamin

Kim is our newest team member, having started with The Verge Insurance Group in July 2017. She brought with her 7+ years of experience with a major Canadian Insurance company, specifically in Employee Benefits. At home, Kim stays very busy with two young boys that keep her on her toes!

Melanie Hildebrandt

Melanie began her insurance career with The Verge Insurance Group in 2015 as a key member of the Financial Services Team. Her expertise and years of experience working in the customer service industry allow Melanie to be an excellent advocate for her Life Insurance and Group Benefits clients. A St Catharines native, Melanie resides with her family in town and continues to contribute to several local associations and organizations.
